Site Requirements
The seminar site should be large enough for several people to comfortably swing a large sword about without hitting either the ceiling, the walls or one another. The seminar can be conducted outdoors, weather permitting. However, indoor sites tend to be more comfortable for all involved.
Equipment Requirements
Attendees should bring a 3-weapon fencing mask (or equivalent head protection), a waster or blunt sword of at least four feet in length (and larger is encouraged), and padded gloves. Additional protective equipment is lauded but not required.
the Instructor
Ben Roberts has been studying, translating and interpreting the Harleian Manuscript for nearly a decade. He has spent several years teaching the art through local community education classes, and has been invited to teach at the Western Martial Arts Workshop multiple times.
Fees
Travel expenses (i.e., airfare) and $300/day. To book a seminar, contact Ben Roberts.
